Lost and Found

It is a more appropriate middle name for me, than a blog post, Lost and Found. It isn't ever very long after I unwrap myself from my blankets that I discover I have lost something. It could be as simple as lost sleep, forever irretrievable, my cell phone, silenced, of course, the car keys that will get me to work, or the paper I had in my hands only seconds ago. The simpler the better, they drive me crazy. I am certain I spend 30 percent of my day looking for what I lost. I would have made a great shepherd.
The trivial losses drive me mad, but the lost victories, lost opportunities, lost time, lost youth, lost loved ones; these aching losses are lost forever, and for that, resolution can only be found in my Savior. The Master Seeker of the lost, He found me, while I was lost and not even aware of being so.
I was lost, He found me, and that has made all the difference. I need a space to explore the losses and the findings I have had and will have along the way, and I hope this blog will be that space. I pray the Master Seeker will use it for His glory.
I laugh hard and hysterically, my family and friends can attest. I cry hard. A trusted few can attest. I grieve in gut wrenching waves, and glory in His grace the depth to which only Jesus can attest. All these things are part of who I am, once lost but found. All these things will wend their way into the blog.
