Media Bio
Maureen Lewicki is a retired educator, author, and speaker whose work is shaped by a lifetime of teaching, storytelling, and quiet discovery. She spent over 40 years in education, including teaching students who are blind and visually impaired, homeschooling, and co-founding and teaching in a university-style program for home-educated high school students. Known for her warmth, humor, and creative approach, she often blended games, stories, and hands-on learning, once prompting a student to say, “This was a fun day! All we did was play.”
She is also a writer of both children’s stories and reflective pieces for adult readers, exploring themes of faith, curiosity, creativity, and the moments where something lost becomes something found. Her work invites audiences to look more closely, think more deeply, and rediscover wonder in everyday life.
